What a Time at the State Farm Arena For The First Round of Wnba Playoffs

The Atlanta Dream vs The Washington Mystics game  had everything you needed there as far as playoff intensity. I was there myself at the packed house at State Farm Arena which brought fans out of all backgrounds and races, which was great to see. Their is something different about the State Farm Arena even before you take a seat to watch the game. The food was divine from the concession stands. Whether you want your all american pizza and hamburger with fries or you came to go visit the bar to get your drink on State Farm Arena feels like the place to be. While i haven't been to the club or lounge in a while the playoff atmosphere at this game was special and felt just like an epic club night back in the day. Now usually nobody mentions the staff members who works in these arenas but they are their before you arrive and after you leave to make sure you have a great time. So I want to take some time and show some love to all of the wonderful staff of the State Farm Arena. First thing i notice is the cleanliness of the arena and if you do happen to drop anything on the floor their is a staff member right there to pick it up. Now on to the concession staff who work so seamlessly to get your order correct and keep the lines moving so you can get back and enjoy the game. I have never experienced any rudeness they are always showing their southern hospitality. Then you have your ticket takers and who work all of the doors and lead you to your correct seat, I want to applaud them for never looking angry and standing on their feet for the whole game with a gracious smile. I never hear anybody mention the security guards unless someone is getting thrown out of an arena which is very rare, but when you think of it with an arena with over twenty something thousand people in there to not have any issues at all is very commendable and essential to everyone’s safety. Alright now i know you're wondering what about the actual basketball game well here we go. The Atlanta Dream came out in the first half looking unfamiliar to the way they finished the season. Their shot selection and defense were not up to par and the Washington Mystics which are a great team took advantage of that right away. What i noticed is that the veteran presence of Dewanna Bonner settled them down with a run to end the second quarter. At halftime the Atlanta Dream cut the lead to a manageable feat. I must say Bria Janelle who is The Atlanta Dream Emcee knows how to keep the crowd going in a slump which is a very underrated talent. While Soulja Boy was performing at halftime i was exploring all the food and beverage options that the arena had to offer which literally took the whole fifteen minutes. What stood out to me was the fact that at this arena everybody looked like they knew each other because everyone was having a conversation having a good old-fashioned ball, which is something i do very well myself and enjoy. Then i returned to my seat ready for the second half which was a doozy not to my surprise. The Atlanta Dream seemed way more motivated and relaxed in the third quarter the super stars stepped up and it was Rhyne time which is a coined phrase they say at Atlanta Dream games when All Star Rhyne Howard is about to go off on a tangent of straight buckets. There was a lot of Angel Reese jerseys in the stands and she was all of the floor with her defensive energy which is contagious. The Atlanta home crowd was late arriving but in the third quarter the arena really started to feel like a playoff game which i can see the dream players fed off of. The Washington Mystics put up a hell of a fight and didn't quit but the home court advantage is what sealed the deal. The Atlanta Dream went into turbo mode in the fourth quarter and left the doubt on the table and cruised to a game one playoff victory.
