Brands investing in women’s sports need Athletes like Angel reese

The Businesses that are investing in women’s sports look very different than years past. The usual suspects of the NBA and NFL are not the only assets on the horizon for investors and brand partnerships. Companies like Sephora and Ally are ingratiating themselves in the space of women’s sports and athletes. Both of these companies are invested in the unrivaled basketball league, which is a new 3×3 women’s basketball league with their third season upcoming. Why now you ask? Is the question a lot of doubters are asking. Well, where do i start probably with the media deals and the broadcast coverage, which is lock and step with brand advertising placement, which means more eyes and potential consumers. At my company i was one of the first if not the first to invest in women’s sports and their athletes with my time and dedication to their real personalities and background stories. I was tired of going to women’s sporting events and seeing the empty crowds, and nothing was being done about that. I then proceeded to bring my camera to the games and record live and interact with the fans that were there and then went home and created “the bants experience” which was developed, created and owned by me. I the reached out to plenty of athletes myself and let them know that i owned my own company, and i was going to change the trajectory of the women’s sports landscape. The first athlete i ever reached out to was Angel Reese after i saw her play in person more than a few times. I noticed she had hunger in her and that look in her eyes, and then i did my research and found out she had a gruesome jones fracture her freshmen year at Maryland and thought about quitting but didn’t. It was then i knew she was going to be the one to change women’s sports forever. I let her know she was special to me by driving to Penn State University to watch her play a road game during the pandemic. At this time nobody outside of her hometown Baltimore MD, and the AAU circuit knew who she was. I believe she only had about 45 thousand followers in Instagram at the time. We stayed in contact and i coined her my first athlete to get my business off of the ground. That following year she entered the transfer portal and transferred to LSU and won a national championship in her first season. Which i was elated about because i saw her star potential when averaging a double double for the University of Maryland. This was huge for my own company Paul Mclean Banter Entertainment LLC because now Angel had all of the eyes on her, which brought her brand partnerships and endorsements deals starting with the NIL. Her life would never be the same and as she continued her rise to greatness, she would always respond back to me when i reached out. Angel Reese is built different which is no surprise to me, being that she grew up in Baltimore MD, and won 4 straight championships as a point guard at St Frances academy. Now Angel has a whopping 5.2 million followers on Instagram. Back to the brand partnerships, i just eloquently showed you why brands should invest in women athletes, and their personalities and upbringing, because there are real people in the world who really care about them just like i do. So, i know you all are just starting to see what the potential is as far as revenue for the athletes in women’s sports, but i see something even bigger which is the youth believing in themselves, and seeing on their computers and tv screens that other people do to, the future of women’s sports is now
